Louis Seigal has been working and living in New York City since the late 90's. He has been pursuing photography since he was in high
school. Self taught and independent, he has developed his personal
style and ability by actively shooting and exploring every facet of
photography.

His ability to acutely observe everything around him has allowed him to
explore
and develop his
photography style by utilizing texture and depth as key ingredients in
his creative process. He works best on his feet in a fast
moving dynamic environment; using the experience to
create living
breathing photos that
provoke emotion.
Driven to tell stories though his photos, Louis uses documentary
photography to visually express what is going on in the world around
him. He has worked on a photo documentary project of Washington Square
Park in an effort to explore the unique cultural feeling of it.
In addition to shooting documentary photography, Louis also spends his
time exploring raw edgy portraiture, as well as street photography.
